Lori is a seasoned educator and facilitator who offers informative and interactive sessions focused on Wellness, Equity and Inclusion. Lori’s sessions guide participants to new understandings of popular topics, but also function as an opportunity to bring teams together to build on assets such as trust, cohesion and fun.

+ FINDING WELLNESS THROUGH MINDFULNESS (60 MINUTES). This session introduces participants to evidence-based yet practical tools they can start using immediately to de-stress, balance and relax. Mindfulness, at its core, means to intentionally and kindly pay attention to what’s happening in the present moment. As we live and work through a global pandemic - this skill has never been more important.

+ THE ART OF COMMUNICATING MINDFULLY (90 MINUTES). “To listen is to lean in softly with a willingness to be changed by what we hear” -Mark Nepo. This sessions guides participants to increase their self-awareness around when and why they react through anger or fear by understanding stress response, personal triggers and deeply ingrained communication patterns. Aided by core mindfulness practices, participants leave this session with tools to improve both their listening and speaking so they are able to show up for their team members in deeply collaborative, respectful and productive ways.

+ COMPASSIONATE LEADERSHIP (90 MINUTES). Now, more than ever, compassionate leadership is a critical skill for guiding teams through these unprecedented times. Compassion is the (trainable) skill of empathetically understanding where people are at coupled with a genuine desire to help. Research shows that compassion not only improves collaboration, trust and loyalty - but for the compassionate leader also improves physical health, resilience and social connections. Participants will leave this session with the knowledge and skills to begin immediately leading from the heart.

+ Check in (60 minutes). Whether your teams are working remotely or together, you can’t take for granted that everyone is doing ok. This session allows time and space for participants to check in on their own mental wellbeing and offers strategic tools and resources for helping to improve how people are feeling. 2020 was a difficult year for us all. Offer this opportunity for your team to connect, check in and share their personal wellbeing plans.
